Sonny Sixkiller Jersey

Alex "Sonny" Sixkiller is a Member of the Cherokee Nation and was the quarterback for the University of Washington Huskies in 1970.  Later, Sonny played in the World Football League with the Philadelphia Bell and the Hawaiians in 1974-75.  You may recognize his as a cast member from the 1974 film The longest yard.  Representation is important and for a young tribal member it was inspiring to see a tribal member as a starting QB on such a grand stage.  He is an inspiration to many rez kids who have dreams of success.
